Asian style carved wooden seat in the shape of a dragon or other mythical creature. Possibly Egyptian, from the early 1900s when Howard Carter found the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The design could also be inspired by Chinese dragons.  The wood looks like Huang Li which is a dense Asian relative of walnut.
